Donna Newman began her career in property management in 1980 as a Site Manager and worked with a local developer as a Sales and Settlement Coordinator. Since that time, she has managed various types of associations, including a unique waterfront townhouse community on the Chesapeake Bay as well as several large scale Homeowner Associations, Active Adult communities and condominium buildings. Donna also acted as a Director of Training from 2005 until early 2011. She has developed Operations Manuals, instituted training programs for new employees, and monthly training sessions for the various levels of the management team. She has also provided Board and Committee member orientation programs. Donna has been a member of Community Associations Institute (CAI), since 1983 and served on various committees over the years, currently acting as the Education Council Chair which interacts with the Conference & Expo Committee as well as the Education and Education Sub-Committees. She is an approved speaker for the local chapter of CAI and a licensed District of Columbia Property Manager. Donna is also an Authorized OSHA Outreach Trainer for General Industry 10 and 30 hour classes.
