Vice President of Financial Community Management After graduating from Wheeling College with a degree in accounting, Wanda worked for a few years for a local CPA firm that specialized in audits of condominiums and HOA's. In 1982 she was hired as the assistant controller for a large Metro area property management company. Throughout her almost 29 years with this same firm, she created policies and procedures to streamline processes and strengthen the internal controls of the accounting department as well as supervising and training a large staff. She also developed an accounting training course for new managers and employees. She worked closely with the accounting systems manager to complete a full computer system conversion as well as numerous updates over the years. Wanda was promoted to Vice President and Controller in a few years and helped contribute to the tremendous growth that this company saw over the years. She oversaw the production of over 300 sets of financials statements each month ranging from small and large condominiums, large hi-rise buildings to small and large HOA communities. |
